The Range Extender is a telescopic pole with a half-moon steel hook that lets an operator hang CableSafe Safety Hooks — and the cables in them — at heights up to 5 metres without a ladder. A turn button extends the pole from 1.60 m to 3 m. It creates hook-up points high in the plant, on beams and flanges where no rail is within reach, and designs out trip points for cables that are not moved often.
The CableSafe Safety Hook Range Extender is a pole with a half-moon shaped steel hook mounted on the CableSafe Safety Hook Range Extender pole. The CableSafe Safety Hook Range Extender pole includes a turn button on the pole which can be activated to extend the pole for a total of 3 meter. The CableSafe Safety Hook Range Extenders are used by operators on locations where the operator cannot reach the intended hook up location of the CableSafe safety hooks. The CableSafe Safety Hook Range Extender will therefor allow more hook up points higher up in your plant and will design out tripping points for wires and cables that are not used of moved frequently.

Pick the hook by the heaviest single load it will carry, not by hose diameter alone. The static load in the table is the figure to work with; when the load is dynamic or shock-loaded, ask us to check the application first.
Lines that are not moved often are safest well above head height, out of the way of forklifts and scaffolding. The Range Extender makes those hook-up points reachable without working at height, which removes a ladder task from the job.
