Ordering & pricing

No prices on the public site. Build a list, send it, and pricing follows within one working day. Distributors log in and order directly.

Why can't I see prices?

CableSafe sells through authorised distributors and project pricing. Public prices would undercut the people who stock, deliver and support you locally. Send the list — you get a quote within one working day, or your distributor's pricing if you have an account.

Can I request a quote for several products at once?

Yes. Every product page has "Request a quote". It adds the article and quantity to one list; the list suggests items that usually ship together. One send, one quote.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Safety Hooks ship in boxes of 25. Guards, nets and barriers are sold per piece. Samples are available for projects — ask on the product page.

How do I become a distributor?

Apply via the distributor page. We check territory and sector fit, then open a wholesale account with your price list, stock levels and order history.

Products & load ratings

Every hook has its static load moulded in. Not sure which size? Use the size guide or the load calculator on the product page.

Is the static load per hook or per pair?

Per hook, loaded vertically at the throat. Double hooks are rated for the whole hook, not per slot.

Which size do I need for welding cable?

A typical 70 mm² welding lead weighs about 0.9 kg per metre. Four leads at 3 m spacing need roughly 14 kg per hook with margin — a 6 in (40 kg) is enough; sites usually standardise on 9 in for headroom.

How long does glow-in-the-dark stay visible?

Several hours after a full charge in daylight or plant lighting; it recharges under normal plant lighting.

Can the hook be used outdoors and in cold?

Yes. The Safety Hook Extreme is UV stabilised and cold-weather rated. It does not corrode, so it stays on deck after the turnaround.

What is the difference between Extreme and Light?

Light is the indoor system for temporary cables, lighting and gear (light hangers, safety patches, wall hooks). Extreme is for plants and weather: 40–275 kg, UV stabilised, flame retardant, moulded SWL for inspection.

Standards & certification

The standard each product helps you meet is named on its page; the declaration of conformity sits next to the datasheet.

Are Safety Hooks suitable for ATEX zones?

The body is non-conductive, non-sparking PBT. Whether a product may be used in a zone depends on the site's classification — the material sheet and DoC give the data your safety officer needs.

Which OSHA rule do the hooks help with?

OSHA 1926.25 (housekeeping) and 1926.150 Subpart F: walkways clear of cords, hoses and combustible material. Hanging the run above head height is the simplest way to comply.

Is there a declaration of conformity?

Yes, for every product family. Download it under Documents on the product page.

Shipping & distributors

Stock in Leusden (EU) and the United States. Next-day dispatch on stock items.

How fast can you deliver?

Stock items dispatch the next working day from the nearest warehouse. Turnaround orders can be split-shipped.

Do you ship to my country?

Directly across the EU, UK, US and Canada; elsewhere via our distributors. Ask — we route the order for you.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Use "Free sample" on the product page or ask in your quote request.

Datasheets & documents

Datasheets, DoC, drawings and material sheets are available from every product page.

Can I download datasheets without an account?

Yes — no account needed. Leave your name, company and work email once and every datasheet, declaration of conformity and drawing on the site opens for you. Only prices require a quote request or a distributor login.

Do you have CAD / BIM files?

2D DWG and 3D STEP for hooks and guards, under Documents on each product page.

The QR code on my hook — what does it do?

It opens the product page for that exact size: datasheet, DoC and load rating. Useful for inspections and for reordering on site.

Nothing for that word yet. Ask an engineer — we answer the same working day and add the question here.
