The Range Extender is a telescopic pole with a half-moon steel hook that lets an operator hang CableSafe Safety Hooks — and the cables in them — at heights up to 5 metres without a ladder. A turn button extends the pole from 1.60 m to 3 m. It creates hook-up points high in the plant, on beams and flanges where no rail is within reach, and designs out trip points for cables that are not moved often.

The specification sheet for this article is being finalised. Ask us for the datasheet and we send it the same day.
Pick the hook by the heaviest single load it will carry, not by hose diameter alone. The static load in the table is the figure to work with; when the load is dynamic or shock-loaded, ask us to check the application first.
Lines that are not moved often are safest well above head height, out of the way of forklifts and scaffolding. The Range Extender makes those hook-up points reachable without working at height, which removes a ladder task from the job.
All CableSafe Safety Hooks and Safety Hooks Extreme. Hook the S-hook onto the half-moon head, lift it onto the beam or flange, and pull the pole free.
The pole extends to 3 metres; with the operator’s reach that gives hook-up points up to about 5 metres.
