A cable bridge is a free-standing steel gantry that carries cables and hoses over a walkway or road, so nothing lies on the floor. It is the heavy-duty alternative to cable guards: the run is managed on the bridge instead of under a cover, which keeps the passage clear for pedestrians, pallet trucks and forklifts. The standard unit is 2.25 m high, 1.20 m wide and 2 m long, rated for up to 500 kg of cable weight and tested with 1,000 kg. Weight capacity and length can be adjusted on request.
Where pedestrians, pallet trucks or forklifts cross a cable route, the Cable Bridge takes the cables up and over the passage. That removes the trip hazard and the need for cable guards on the floor, and keeps the cables clear of traffic.
The standard bridge is 2.25 m high, 2 m long and 1.20 m wide, rated for 500 kg of cable weight and tested with 1,000 kg. The side beams can hold cables and hoses temporarily, and CableSafe Safety Hooks can be supplied with the bridge.
