CableSafe is the industrial safety division of Westmark, a family-owned Dutch engineering company. We develop practical, reliable solutions for cable safety, dropped objects prevention and confined space safety — designed for harsh conditions and built for long-term performance.
Our story
In 1991 Westmark introduced the CableSafe Safety Hook: a simple, non-conductive hook that keeps welding leads, hoses and power cables off the work floor during maintenance and turnarounds. Contractors adopted it because it did one thing well, survived the plant, and cost less than a single slip-trip-fall incident.
The range grew the way plants asked for it — the Extreme for outdoor and cold-weather use, the Light system for indoor runs, the Range Extender to install at up to five metres, guards and bridges for cables that have to cross roads and walkways.
Dropped objects prevention and confined space safety followed the same logic: stock articles, tested to a stated safe working load, with a datasheet and a declaration of conformity on every product page. Today CableSafe supplies distributors and sites worldwide from Leusden and from Westmark LLC in the United States.
Safety Hook Extreme · in use since 1991Milestones

Manhole barriers, ladder guards, cover nets, harmonica and net barriers that one person installs and removes.
